Cheerleading fundraisers are a great way to build unity and team spirit while raising money for the cheerleading squad. Cheerleaders raising money for trips, competitions, events, uniforms and other endeavors can be incredibly effective at fundraising because of their positive attitudes, team spirit and a go-getter approach to everything. 1. One great fundraiser that cheerleaders have proven to have great success with is cookie dough fundraising. The cheerleaders simply take order forms to friends, family and neighbors and collect orders for delicious cookie dough. When the cookie dough arrives, the team members deliver the cookie dough to those who ordered it.
2. Cheerleaders also have tremendous success with car wash fundraisers. The cheerleaders’ enthusiasm and team spirit is contagious. The team can practice their cheers as they wash cars getting everyone into the spirit and excitement of the cause and generating a lot of money all in a day’s work. All it takes is a few posters and advance promotion to get all of the football players waiting in line to have their car washed. Everyone else will follow and big money can be made.
3. The cheerleading team members can also have bake sales in the off-season of the sport they cheer for. The football cheerleaders can make treats and sell them during the home games during the basketball season and the winter cheerleaders can sell baked treats and beverages during the football season. Cheerleaders can also have successful bake sales on the weekends and at other events, and during break and lunch hours.
